A Landmark Session on "The Role of AI in Drug Development" | SIES School of Pharmaceutical Sciences An incredible morning at SIES School of Pharmaceutical Sciences as we hosted a special session on "The Role of AI in Drug Development" under the Leadership Lecture Series, graced by eminent personalities from the pharmaceutical and regulatory world. We were deeply honoured to welcome Padma Vibhushan Prof. (Dr.) Manmohan Sharma, whose opening remarks set an inspiring tone for the session, and Shri Soujanya Bhumkar, whose keynote address on AI's transformative role in drug development left the entire audience thoroughly engaged and enriched. The depth of insight and real-world perspective shared was truly invaluable for our students and faculty. We were also privileged to have among our esteemed guests: ? Shri Sachin Kamble, Assistant Commissioner, FDA & Chairman, Drug Inspectors Welfare Association ? Shri BhalchandraSinh RaoRane, Chairman, Federation of Industries of India & Chairman, Euro India Business Council Their presence added immense value to the occasion and reflected the strong industry-academia collaboration that SIES SPS continues to foster. Heartfelt gratitude to management of SIES for their vision and continued support in making such enriching platforms possible for our students. This session was a powerful reminder of how technology and pharmaceutical sciences are converging to shape the future of healthcare — and our students left inspired to be a part of that journey.
