DISSO India–Mumbai 2025: 13th Annual International Symposium on Dissolution Science and Applications < Back

DISSO India–Mumbai 2025 — was held on 21st–22nd November 2025 at MPSTME Campus, Mumbai. Dr. Smita Nayak from SIES SPS attended it. The event focused on dissolution science — basically how drugs dissolve and release in the body — covering topics like testing methods for complex dosage forms (skin creams, eye drops, inhalers), regulatory guidelines, and tools like IVRT/IVPT and PBPK modelling. Speakers came from top organizations including US FDA, USP, Sun Pharma, Cipla, and Dr. Reddy's. There was also an exhibition of advanced lab instruments. Overall it was a good mix of academic, industry, and regulatory perspectives.
