Pharmaceutical Packaging – Knowledge to Application < Back

SIES School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a one-day laboratory visit on “Pharmaceutical Packaging – Knowledge to Application” for Third Year B.Sc. Packaging Technology students from SIES School of Packaging on 25th February 2026. The session provided practical exposure to pharmaceutical dosage forms and packaging techniques, with a special focus on blister packaging operations. Expert sessions by faculty members covered dosage form packaging, material selection, packaging challenges, and regulatory considerations. A live demonstration of tablet blister packaging enabled students to gain hands-on understanding and bridge theoretical concepts with real-time industrial practices. The visit was interactive and enriched students’ practical knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging.
